As-Salam..
The moment you see someone that you know changed from bad and I mean REALLY bad to an angel with shining wings from heavens or its short form, good, (with a sudden that is) you were like:
reaction 1: OMG!(speechless?)
reaction 2: pfft. what a showoff!
reaction 3: he's/she's doing it for someone. thats why.
reaction 4: wow! you look pretty wearing a hijab!
reaction 5: Since when did you go to mosque?
reaction 6: why so sudden? relax!
reaction 7: well, its the end of the world...
and many more reactions!..
From what I can see or hear from these days, people are feeling weird with the change of someone like an artist wearing a hijab or an alcaholic man suddenly wants to qiamullail (night prayer)..
chillax! changing from bad to good is..well..good of course. FYGI (for your good information), its kinda hard to change from bad to good. Well, it takes time. But one thing for sure is that hidayah (a guide to heavens) is one of Allah's properties. So, I take that these people are lucky because they get a beautiful present from Allah. The HIDAYAH.
Allah says in the Quran:
"Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided."
So, there you go!
Anyway.. my point here is that thinking bad of someone doing good stuff isn't necessary. It just makes you more foolish because you're laughing at someone better than you! (Oh Snap!) :P
Just remember! Only Allah can give us the hidayah or guidance!
Rasulullah only lead us to it but not giving it.
